I have chosen ‘Guns, a love hate relationship’ because this
is a big issue today. The number of shootings in schools and public places has
grown in the last 10 years. I have my own views on gun control and what we
should be allowed and not allowed to possess. I don’t know all there is to know
about the law and what our rights are but I have a general idea. I am really
excited to find out what the law really says and why it says it. Also knowing
why people think we should and should not have and possess guns and what kind
of guns. I want this blog to be read by all ages and all different kind of
views. I honestly want to find out why people think we should not have guns and
why they think they are so evil.
As you continue your research, look for ways to focus your topic. Gun control is a fairly broad research interest, and there are many different angles to examine it from. For example, you could look at gun control laws that are controversial in a particular state since they vary state to to state. Or you could research how gun control laws affect school situations (lots in the news about that recently). These are just two examples meant to give you an idea directions you could take or just to jumpstart your own brainstorming.
